The Beetle is "sick" again

Well, it's been a very discouraging year so far. After about 5 weeks of relatively smooth running, Lucy started flashing her "red coolant light" at me again. Nice timing, too, we were allowed to leave work early due to a snow storm on Monday, February 6th. I got down the street and ended up turning around. Lorne had to come get me in slow-moving traffic, then drive me to work Tuesday and again this morning; and pick me up of course. So much for karate practice. The Kagame Baraki is this Saturday.

This post is under the "money" blog because isn't it usually vehicles that are the biggest expense? I pay at least $600 a month to drive a 6-year old car to and from work (including insurance, gas and 8 years of car payments).
